Andrews Academy Concerto Night

Andrews Academy is delighted to present Concerto Night 2021 on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m., at the Howard Performing Arts Center.
Six outstanding young musicians will be performing a movement of a concerto accompanied by the Andrews Academy Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Elsy M. Gallardo-Díaz.
Featured students this year are Lucas Navia ("Lalo Cello Concerto in D minor"), Nikolaz Feliciano ("Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2 in D minor"), Jion Kim ("Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor"), Claire Yang ("Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No. 3 in B minor"), Nathaniel Miller ("MacDowell Piano Concerto No. 2 in D minor"), and Benjamin Loenser ("Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor").
Come and support the soloists and enjoy some of the most well-known and beloved pieces of the orchestral repertoire. Invite family and friends!

COVID-19 Safety Measures
We encourage you (our guests) to be vaccinated or have recently tested negative for COVID-19. Please self-screen for symptoms and exposures prior to attending a concert. You should not attend events if symptomatic or if you meet Health Department criteria for isolation or quarantine. Wearing of masks is required.
The University is continually monitoring transmission data for the area as well as recommendations from both local and federal agencies. The University may alter mitigation protocols to address changes in risk. This could include requiring the wearing of masks/face coverings and up to canceling or postponing an event. Right now, masks are required to enter the Howard Performing Arts Center.
