Tom Shepherd, DrPH, PhD, is the speaker at the Dowagiac SDA Church on Sabbath, Sept. 24.

Pastor Shepherd continues his series on the Gospel of Mark. The message, titled "The Whole Nine Yards," comes from Mark chapter 8. The disciples came to understand that Jesus was the Messiah, but they were surprised and shocked by where He was headed. Discipleship involves not only recognizing who Jesus is but embracing where He leads us.

The Dowagiac Church is located at 410 Hill Street, Dowagiac, Michigan. Sabbath School begins at 9:30 a.m. and the church service starts at 10:50 a.m. A fellowship meal follows the service. All are welcome.
