The PhD dissertation defense for Marielsy Pimentel is scheduled on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, from 3–5 p.m. via Zoom. Marielsy Pimentel will defend her dissertation in partial fulfillment for the PhD degree in Counseling Psychology. Marielsy Pimentel’s dissertation title is “Racial Identity, Hair Esteem, and Hair Style Choice as Correlates of Psychological Wellbeing of Afro-Latinas in the United States.” Those wishing to attend must make their request via email to sedgradprograms@andrews.edu.
