Death of Pauline G. Maxwell
The funeral service for Pauline G. Maxwell will be held at Pioneer Memorial Church on Oct. 16, 2022, at 1 p.m. The viewing will be held in the sanctuary of PMC at noon. Bill Fagal will present the homily.
Pauline Glee Maxwell passed away at age 97 on Sept. 30, 2022, in Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, Michigan. Her autonomic respiration system shut down. She was born March 4, 1925, to Ruben and Alice Weitz in Lodi, California. She graduated with a degree in secretarial studies at Pacific Union College and, later, a music degree in Washington, D.C. She married C. Mervyn Maxwell, professor of church history at Andrews University and author of "God Cares" and "Tell It to the World." She was a daughter-in-law of Arthur S. Maxwell, author of "Secret of the Cave," "Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories," "Your Bible and You" and the "Bible Story" set.
