Children's Leadership Conference
After what seemed to be an endless pandemic, the Lake Union, in collaboration with the Center for Youth Evangelism and NAD Children’s Ministry, celebrated the Children's Leadership Conference.
It is the first time the Children's Leadership Conference has been held without Club Ministries training, representing a significant boost for both areas.
This event took place at Andrews University, with more than sixty leaders participating from Michigan, Lake Region, Indiana and Illinois who enjoyed this training in English and Spanish under the theme "Garden of Faith. Growing a Faith that Lasts a Lifetime." The main topic was Teaching Children, which is one of the Certification Tracks from NAD Children’s Ministries department presented by four NAD trainers.
Concluding, the exit survey revealed that participants were excited about the event, with testimonies like this: "I am inspired and reignited to the mission and vision of children's ministry!!! I absolutely loved the practical examples in the storytelling. Thank you for some necessary tools for success!!!"
Thanks to God, the support of NAD Children’s Ministry, the Center for Youth Evangelism, and Lake Union for this important event. We will meet again in October 2023!
