Tom Shepherd, DrPH, PhD, is the speaker at the Dowagiac SDA Church on Sabbath, Nov. 12.

Pastor Shepherd continues his series on the Gospel of Mark with a sermon from Mark 9 titled “I Am the Greatest.” Pastor Shepherd delves into the question of what makes one truly great. Not money, power or position—Jesus lays out the path to true greatness.

The Andrews University Seminary Chorus will provide music for the service under the direction of David Williams, assistant professor of worship and sacred music, co-director, International Center for Worship & Music, Andrews University.

The Dowagiac Church is located at 410 Hill Street, Dowagiac, Michigan. Sabbath School begins at 9:30 a.m. and the church service starts at 10:50 a.m. A fellowship meal follows the service. All are welcome.
