Gallup Employee Engagement Survey

Campus Announcements | Posted on March 14, 2023

Dear valued employee,

At Andrews University, we know that each one of you is at the center of every success we have. Without your hard work, expertise and commitment, we wouldn’t be able to make a difference to those we serve.

This is why we have partnered with Gallup, an independent research-based consulting company, to conduct a confidential employee engagement survey. To learn more about the survey, click here.

Measuring our organization’s and teams’ engagement is the first step in our journey to building a better workplace at Andrews University. On March 6, 2023, at 9 a.m., you received an invitation from Gallup to participate in the survey. If you didn't see it in your regular inbox, please check your junk email folder. You’ll notice that the survey you receive is quite brief—this is intentional. While we know that many factors can influence our workplace experience, this survey is specifically focusing on items aimed at measuring the individual needs of each employee and the degree to which we are providing clarity, support, encouragement and development for all.

Your participation in the survey is critical to this effort. Your opinion is crucial and needs to be heard and understood locally within your own department and team, as well as throughout the University organization to help us transform our workplace from the inside out. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. That may seem like a simple or insignificant assignment, but your feedback, and that of your colleagues, will be one of our most important undertakings this year.

We are committed to the goal of having each one of our employees look forward to coming to work every day. We believe that engaged employees will know that they make a difference, that their voices are heard and that their opinions count.

Thank you for your commitment to success and for taking part in this important survey. Remember, it takes all of us to create change that makes a difference.
