Sponsored by the Center for Digital Learning & Instructional Technology, these sessions for 2023–2024 focus on issues of teaching and learning around generative artificial intelligence in its various forms. Each session will include a short introduction and time to experiment with generative AI, followed by a discussion of implications and possibilities for Adventist higher education. Description: In this session, we will cover the basics of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and how it works. We will also talk about how TurnItIn “detects” it and possible language of what you might want to say to your students regarding the use of generative AI tools.
