Faith Engagement: Fares Magesa

At Andrews University, we have many employees who support the faith of our students. Fares Magesa is no exception. He cares for students in a way that makes blessings multiply.
A colleague shares, “Fares exemplifies Christ and all that He does. He is a gentle giant. He will be involved in anything on campus if asked. He always has a smile and an enormous heart.”
Sonia Badenas remarks, “[Fares] is committed to giving the best service ever. He helps anyone to the best of his capacity. He cares for students [and] is engaged at Andrews Academy and in church. He is one of those people that you do not see up front all the time, but he is hard-working behind the scenes.”
Dawson Par, AFIA president, shares, “Fares Magesa, or “Kuya Fa,” has been a positive, Christ-like example for us. He has been a point of support and [an] advocate for myself, other students and the Andrews community. His gentle kindness and wisdom have been a constant reminder of the resilience of faith.”
