Wilfredo Diaz, also known as Willy—and affectionately called “Amigo” by his Human Resources colleagues—is indeed a friend to everyone he meets. Willy has been serving the needs of Andrews University in the role of payroll assistant since 2005. His job has put him in contact with much of the Andrews community throughout the years, and his dedication and loyalty to serving others is always on display.

In addition to his service to the employees of Andrews University, Willy’s efforts are equally appreciated by his colleagues in the Office of Human Resources. Beverly Brown, associate director of Human Resources, affirms, “Willy and I have both served in HR for almost the same amount of time, and it has been a pleasure to work with him all these years. I have appreciated his dedication to the department, his work, and helping all employees on campus—students, staff and faculty. Willy is such a willing person, and his calm demeanor and approachable attitude go a long way in making those who come in contact with him feel that he cares. Thank you, Willy, for your faithful and committed service to the Office of Human Resources and Andrews University.”
