AUSO Fall Concert: Festive Memories

Join the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening of music on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center. Under the direction of Marc Élysée, the first half features Brahms' lively "Hungarian Dance No. 1" and the dazzling "Piano Concerto No. 2" by Moszkowski, with Aiko Ayala as the featured piano soloist. The second half, led by graduate conducting student Earlon Cornwall, includes the majestic "Jupiter" from Holst's "The Planets" and "Scenes of Jamaica," a work full colors and delightful tunes by Andrew Marshall. Don't miss this captivating blend of orchestral brilliance!

The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra is the core ensemble of the orchestral program at Andrews University. In addition to their current series at the Howard Performing Arts Center, the Symphony Orchestra travels within the Great Lakes region as well as internationally. Since 2006, the orchestra has performed in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, the Philippines and Costa Rica.
