Counseling Staff Running for Advent Health Children's Hospital

Emily Cancel, a hobby runner of 8 years and an employee of Andrews University's Counseling and Testing Center, will be running Disney's Princess Half Marathon on behalf of AdventHealth Florida's children's hospital. Last year, Emily was able to complete Disney's Dopey challenge, a total of 48 miles, in competative time. She applied to run on the fundraising team and was accepted this fall. The money donated to this race will help to fund equipment and events in the Children's hospital that will improve their quality of life and experience in long-term medical treatments.
