Sermon Title: Humble Prayer
Prayer is the breath of the soul. Breathing deeply the atmosphere of Heaven fills our hearts with peace and joy. However, breathing implies exhaling first and then inhaling. By exhaling our pride, we prepare our soul for inhaling the heavenly peace promised by God. The parable of the two people praying at the temple is pure illustration of that. A humble prayer will refresh our heart, an arrogant prayer will never reach the ceiling.
