Arlen Springer has been associated with Andrews for more than 35 years. He studied for his degree here, worked here as a student, graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Technology and is currently a licensed Class III boiler operator.
His contributions to the University have included his dedicated service, attention to detail, and constant drive to improve the heating and cooling infrastructure of the campus. He’s self-motivated in strengthening his leadership skills. He also follows jobs through to completion and never seems unavailable.
However, Arlen’s most significant contribution to the University has been his willingness to allow Christ’s character to be shown through him in the workplace, along with his open desire to honor God and be a blessing to those around him.
On behalf of Andrews University and the Office of Plant Services, we would like to express our appreciation for the many lives you have touched during your 35 years of service here.
