Equipment Inventory Database

The Equipment Inventory Database (EID) application is a program designed to allow the Department of Physics and its staff to locate and manage the equipment owned by the department.

Access is granted by the Department of Physics.

Installation

Step 1

Install Java 11+ to run the application:

• For Windows users, download and install the JDK msi version from here.
• For Mac users, download and install whichever JDK version you are comfortable with from here

Step 2

Download the app. Currently there are separate downloads for Windows and Mac:

• Windows 3.2.4
• Mac 3.2.4
• Linux 3.2.4

To install, download the file from the appropriate link to your desktop. That's it. It will not appear in your list of apps. The shortcut it creates is your path to the app login screen.
