The Andrews University Teacher Education Preparation Program were reviewed in the Fall of 2019. They were accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in the Spring of 2020. The programs are accredited until the Fall of 2026. The programs are also accredited by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).

The accreditation process establishes rigorous standards for educator preparation programs and holds accredited institutions accountable for providing evidence of meeting these standards. CAEP promotes excellence in educator preparation through quality assurance and continuous improvement.
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) expects nationally accredited educational preparation programs to annually provide performance measures to the public regarding eight categories relating to program impact and outcomes.
