Biography

As the Accreditation Coordinator, Jocelyn Willis leverages 7 years of teaching and directorial experience to advance the quality of early childhood academic programs. While studying Educational Psychology at Andrews University, Jocelyn was engaged in research with Dr. Nosworthy on magnitude comparison, processing speed and math anxiety in students grades 1 – 3. As Accreditation Coordinator, Jocelyn is committed to upholding and advancing educational standards, ensuring that institutions provide environments where both faculty and students can thrive.
 

Current Research or Professional Activities

Jocelyn Willis is deeply fascinated by the field of epigenetics, particularly its impact on general learning. Her interest in understanding how genetics and environmental factors influence learning processes, and how these insights can inform the development of curricula and instructional strategies, played a significant role in her decision to pursue an MA in Educational Psychology. As a graduate student, Jocelyn had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Nosworthy, researching magnitude comparison, processing speed, and math anxiety in students from grades 1-3. This experience has sparked a deep interest in further research, driving her ongoing pursuit of knowledge and future academic endeavors in the field.
