Andrews University provides disclosure to students about academic programs that lead to professional licensure. These programs lead to a specific state certification or state license that are required for employment in a particular occupation.
A professional licensure disclosure is required by the U.S. Department of Education for all colleges and university universities offering programs leading to licensure or certification, following regulations published in the Code of Federal Regulations, CFR §668.43, section (a)(5)(v) and section (b).
Students should know whether an academic program offered by the university meets the specific educational requirements of Michigan and whether the program meets the requirements of other states and U.S. territories. This applies to all modes of education delivery.
Students should be aware that licensure and certification requirements may vary from state to state and are subject to change. Licensing agencies or boards also may have requirements in addition to an earned degree; students should consult with their program director if they have additional questions.
