Rogelio and his wife Paola served in the Southern California Conference for 25 years. Answering the call to work for young people, he graduated in 2005 with an MA in Youth Ministry and in 2015 from a DMin in youth and young adults ministry, both from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary (SDATS) at Andrews University.

He now serves as professor of youth and young adult ministry at the SDATS. As part of his responsibilities, he directs the master's programs in youth ministry and discipleship and lifespan education. Rogelio loves to tell stories and is passionate about making the Bible relevant in today’s world.
