Chaplain Ceballos was elected as the Associate Director of ACM at the 2008 General Conference Springs meetings and assumed his duties 1 June 2008. Mario holds a Doctor of Ministries degree on Religion Culture and Society from Boston University. He is a board-certified chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains. In addition, he also serves as a chaplain in the United States Navy Reserve with the rank of Commander. Before coming to the General Conference, Mario served as Vice-President of Spiritual Services and Mission Outreach at Kettering Adventist Healthcare. His passion is for service, ministry and spiritual/pastoral care. He believes in training and nurturing ministers serving God in all aspects of ministry, and especially the specialized field of chaplaincy.
Dr. Ceballos serves as an adjunct professor and coordinator for the Chaplaincy concentrations in the Andrews DMin program.
