The Andrews Research Conference is organized by the Office of Research and Creative Scholarship at Andrews University. The purpose of the conference is to provide Adventist graduate students and early career researchers at non-Adventist universities with the opportunity to share their research with one another and with Andrews University. All graduate students, post-docs, and early faculty at non-Adventist universities are welcome. We particularly encourage the attendance of Adventist participants from non-Adventist universities. Attendance will be available both in person and virtually.
Each year, presentations are selected based on the focus, which rotates between STEM, arts and humanities, and the social sciences. The theme of the 2025 ARC is Early Career Researchers in STEM and Health Sciences. This event will be held in association with the Adventist Bioethics Consortium (ABC) on May 12-13. We will accept research in the fields of biology, chemistry, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, physical therapy, public health, nursing, medical laboratory science, and related disciplines. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2025. Please submit applications here. Registration for a presentation at ARC will also facilitate a poster presentation for approved submissions at ABC. Meals and accommodation for participants will be provided for the duration of the ARC conference.
