Analysis of the 2017 World Church Survey: Exploration of Church Health and Disability within Five Divisions

The General Conference Office of Archives, Statistics, and Research (ASTR) issued Requests for Proposals (RFP) to collect and analyze data from each of the Worlds Divisions using a global Church Member Survey. Dr. Petr Cincala was awarded the contract for five of the Worlds Divisions including the North American Division, Trans-European Division, Northern Asia Pacific Division, Euro-Asia Division, and Southern Asia Division. The contract to construct the Global Church Member Survey (GCMS) and undertake integrated analysis of all Divisions was also awarded to Andrews University with Dr. McBride serving at the P.I., Dr. Cincala as a Co-P.I., and Dr. Trecartin as a team member on both projects. The current proposal will allow for in-depth analysis of the data from 5 Divisions, going beyond the scope of the ASTR Division contracts.
