Missiological Implications from the engagement of Chinese Adventist Missionaries in Mission to Diaspora Chinese Overseas on an Ethnographic Perspective.
Gustavo Portes
This study examines the missiological implications for the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from the growing participation of Chinese Adventist missionaries sent from the Chinese Union Mission (CHUM) to church-plant among Chinese diasporas in Thailand, Brazil, and Hungary. The research process will be guided by two questions:
1. What is the ethnographic description of the engagement of Seventh-day Adventist Chinese missionaries from mainland China in missions to diaspora Chinese in Thailand, Hungary, and Brazil?
2. What are the missiological implications of this engagement to the mission of the Adventist church locally and globally?
