Andrews University continues its role as an innovator in international Seventh-day Adventist education. An interdisciplinary program is offered for the 2017 Summer Academic Term, featuring a study tour to Tanzania in May.
Our goal is to tie academic studies to the real world, drawing students and teachers alike into a dialogue about our shrinking global village. The program has been carefully researched and creatively blends several disciplines. We have developed a wealth of learning opportunities, from the wondrous natural heritage of Africa, to its traditional cultures and contemporary African life.
Andrews University has experience in East Africa and we feel Tanzania is a good choice to launch our program. It is blessed with some of the world’s greatest natural areas, wisely set aside by its government for posterity. It is politically stable, and has a reliable and comfortable infrastructure for visitors, including good transportation and accommodations. As you will discover, it has warm and friendly people eager to share their rich cultural heritage.
Enrollment will be taken on a first-come basis. Space is limited in this unique program, so don’t delay reserving your space. Andrews University reserves the right to review academic standing for participants’ eligibility.
We look forward to your participation in this wonderful learning adventure.
