As a premier educational institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Andrews University treasures its rich legacy of transformative education rooted in faith, scholarship, and global engagement. From its very start, our school was founded with a sense of mission as its central vision and purpose. In 1874, the year that our institution was established, our namesake, J.N. Andrews, embarked as the first official Seventh-day Adventist missionary. Our graduates, representing 180 countries, have made and continue to make a difference for God in the world. Today Andrews University is truly a place where you meet the world, with approximately 100 countries represented among our students, faculty and staff.
