Program Requirements

The MSMLS Program Consists of:

  • 38 semester credits (minimum)

    • 16 credits of core courses (minimum)
    • 10 credits of research foundation & Capstone Project (minimum)
    • 12 credits from the concentration (minimum)

  • The MSMLS degree can be completed online or face-to-face at the Andrews University campus.

    • Part-time students can typically complete the program in three years (six semesters).
    • Full-time students can typically complete the program degree in two years (four semesters)
  • Students may require more than two years to complete the MSMLS Program if they enroll part-time or must also complete the MLS Certification as part of the MSMLS prerequisites.

  • The graduate program coordinator must approve all course selections and sequencing. 

  • MSMLS students must maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher, with no course grade lower than a "C".
