Scott Ward, DMin, was brought to the Seminary to create the Collaborative Ministry course content and teach it as the Seminary’s latest required class for all MDiv and MA students. The students enjoy the course as it creates excitement and support for our church schools. Each semester, the students go out in the field to visit thriving church schools with their professor and study how these successful schools are making disciples. As a result, many seminarians are now hoping to have a church school ministry in their districts once they return to the field.
Christian Genao’s short film shares student experiences in a Collaborative Ministry school field trip to the Oregon Conference and the insights they gained about the importance of Adventist education.
