Like to know what steps to take to become a worldchanger? Here's a step-by-step guide to getting started as an Andrews University degree student:

How to Find Program Info

How to Apply

  1. Apply to take a class. Create an account then start an application.
    • Read the details, choosing the semester you wish to begin, the level, and campus distance/online
    • Enter all personal and academic record information before submitting a complete application
    • Click on the supplemental item link to upload your copies of all transcripts for institutions you listed in the application - official copies aren't needed until admitted
  2. Email Admissions (undergrad@andrews.edu or graduate@andrews.edu) including your full name, phone number and type of application made, if you don't receive an admission email within 3 business days.
  3. Follow instructions once admitted to activate your Andrews username, set up your Andrews gmail and two-step verification. This video tutorial may be helpful.

How to Register & Pay

Meet with your academic advisor to create a study plan that sequences courses required to expediently meet program requirements. Your advisor will then open registration.

  1. Login to Registration Central with your Andrews username and password.
  2. Update biographical  information.
  3. Enroll in courses. Select the right section, limited to term-based classes currently.  Once complete, check enrolled courses show under this term's schedule on your iVue page. Email our Enrollment Counselor if you have questions specifically about registration.
  4. Set up your payment plan, working with your financial advisor to include loans and scholarships.  Make the first payment before the last day to change registration (10 days from Fall and Spring start, 3 days in Summer).

How to Start Studying

  1. Students admitted to online campus best order textbooks online through VitalSource or Amazon. For classes requiring online supplemental materials, always buy new as the access code cannot be reused, and the ebook is best integrated with required supplemental learning tools.
  2. Check your Andrews email regularly as you are responsible for acting on information sent. Email helpdesk@andrews.edu for help with username, email and two-factor authentication set up. Include your AU ID number with full name in all emails for fastest help.
  3. Courses show on your dashboard in learninghub. Email dlit@andrews.edu if you need help.
