Statement of Ethics
The process of giving back to Andrews University is a meaningful experience for both the donor and the university. The Office of Development seeks to carry out our responsibilities with our Adventist Christian beliefs and morals at the forefront of all we do. Maintaining the highest professional ethics and industry-accepted “best practices” in combination with our Christian beliefs is equally important. Fundraisers in Development are encouraged to become Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE) and hold memberships in the following organizations:
- Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE),
- Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP),
- Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), and
- Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI), a department of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
