Information about Social Security Number
We are very excited that you will be working at Andrews University! Being employed comes with many responsibilities, one of which is obtaining a United States Social Security Number.
We do not require you to have a Social Security number before you start work. However, the Internal Revenue Service requires Andrews University to report wages using a Social Security number. Therefore, you will need to obtain that number. These are the steps you will need to take in order to obtain the Social Security number.
