Article Types

Research Articles – These are the backbone of the journal. Topics and research approaches vary widely.  You may contact the JRCE office to inquire about the fit of your proposed article with JRCE.
Literature Reviews – Topic must be of contemporary concern and not have had a review published on the topic within the past five year
Scholarly Essays – While not a formal as a research article, the essay requires a specific thesis for its focus and careful attention to its logic and organization.  All arguments in the essay should be supported by research literature and/or scripture.
Book Reviews – These are an excellent entry into academic publication or a way of ensuring you stay current with the literature in your field.  If you have a book you would suggest for review in the JRCE contact the Associate Editor for Books Reviews to inquire about its fit with the journal.
