The Andrews University Office of Campus Safety is committed to the safety and general welfare of each member of our campus community. The following resources are provided as educational tools for prevention, preparedness and response techniques for a number of emergency situations. These situations include, but are not limited to, fire safety, hostile threat, inclement weather, theft deterrence and vehicle safety.

Please take a few moments to review this material. Keep in mind that the Office of Campus Safety and local law enforcement agencies will respond as appropriate during any emergency situation.

Opioids 911—Opioids 911 is for patients and their caregivers focusing on the proper and safe use of opioid pain relievers, provide an understanding of opioid analgesics and their various risks, and to suggest specific actions for preventing opioid-related problems, including: misuse, abuse, addiction, diversion, adverse reactions, overmedication, and life-threatening overdose. Instruction is provided on recognizing opioid problems if they do occur and on being prepared for what to do during an emergency.
