LUNCH AND LEARN

Various topics will be presented by colleagues in a way that encourages networking and collaborative learning.  These sessions will provide an opportunity to share and discuss what you and your colleagues are doing in the classroom, in an effort to promote growth and development.  All sessions will be held in the Lincoln Room at the Terrace Cafe from 12:00 - 1:00pm.  Lunch will be served from 11:30 - 1:30 with the option of eat-in or to-go.  Please contact training@andrews.edu to RSVP.

FACULTY BOOK CLUB

Sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and the teaching, Learning, and Curriculum Department, this opportunity has been created to challenge faculty members to reflect on their current teachin practices and to discuss ways to foster active learning, increase engagement and improve student achievement.  Please come and be inspired to grow professionally as we dialogue with colleagues about the book and our lived experiences in higher education.  All sessions will be held in the Lincoln Room at the Terrace Cafe.  Lunch willl be served from 11:30 - 1:30 with the option of eat-in or to-go.  Discussion groups will begin as 11:45, 12:00, and 12:15 to accomodate varying schedules.  Please contact training @andrews.edu to register.  The first 25 falculty members that register will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
