AU Gala Concert
Sat., September 27 - 8:30 p.m., Howard Performing Arts Center. The Andrews University Department of Music presents a Gala Concert in honor of the AU Alumni. The concert will feature the Wind Symphony under the direction of Alan Mitchell performing the Olympic Fanfare by Williams; A Jubilant Overture by Reed; Cake Walk from Suite of Old American Dances by Bennett; An American in Paris by Gershwin; and Time to Say Goodbye by Peterson.  The second half of the concert will feature the University Singers, I Cantori, Pioneer Men’s Chorus and Canta Bella under the direction of Stephen Zork performing Laudamus Te by Clausen; Homeland by Stroope; Richte mit Gott by Mendelssohn; and I Don’ Feel No Ways Tired by Gibbs. Free admission.
