Susan Pervier Zork, MA Religious Education, is an Assistant Professor of Religion. She serves the department in teaching General Education Religion to approximately 400 undergraduate students each year. Her area of theological emphasis is in Christian spirituality and discipleship. She oversees the “Religion” majors in the department and is an active academic advisor in the department. Susan is also an associate pastor for an on-campus community worship service where she regularly preaches, gives bible studies and leads out in ministry.
In addition to her busy schedule teaching and preaching, Susan is a published composer and recording artist. She regularly speaks and gives sacred concerts throughout the States and beyond. She is also a member of University Singers, the Andrews University select touring choir under the direction of her husband, Stephen Zork. Currently, Susan is working on her dissertation proposal connected with her studies toward a PhD in Religious Education. However, Susan would, undoubtedly, claim that her four grown children; Nicholas (Noelia and baby Ava), Benjamin (Miroslava), Timothy (Cindy) and Jasmine (Ben) are her greatest claim to accomplishment and joy.
