This idea is taken from the Teen Bible Academy run by the Central California Conference. Essentially, teenagers spend a week outside backpacking in God’s nature and experience God firsthand through personal time alone with God. After connecting with God, they spend a week studying the Bible and digging deep in Scripture. The final week is spent doing outreach activities such as drive-by prayer, homeless ministry, passing out literature, etc. The idea is to expose teenagers to a wide variety of experiences that are spiritual in nature—a great way to team up with your school during the summer.
