What is marketing?

Marketing is an ensential lifeblood of any organization and its central role is in creating, communicating, and capturing sustainable value for the organizations.  Marketing helps for-profit and not-for-profit organizations undersand the needs of this customer base and providing them with innovative ideas, products, and services. The added value is communicated through a variety of different channels including branding, consumer research, and product/service pricing.   Finally, by building an effective customer-centric organization a firm attempts to sustain value over time.

The marketing curriculum helps students attain strong marketing skills, exposure to the latest marketing technology, understand non-profit organizations, and develop social media campaigns, marketing strategies and policies.

Enhanced by technology, organizations from every area of business are driven by marketing and its concepts.
