Dean Burrill graduated from Andrews University with a BS in elementary education and language arts, a Master of Arts in educational psychology and a Masters in Business Administration.
Dean Burrill grew up as a pastor's daughter, moving frequently, and spending most of her growing up years in Florida. Upon graduation from Andrews University, she taught grades 5–8 for five years in both Ohio and Indiana. In 2001, Dean Burrill came to Andrews University to serve as Assistant Dean in Lamson Hall. From 2004 to 2018, Dean Burrill served as the Dean of Lamson Hall. After 13 years of deaning, Dean Burrill took on the additional role of Director of Residence Life in 2014, with this role becoming full-time in 2018. She has a son, Timothy, whom she adopted in May 2014. She enjoys the beach, classic television shows, reading and taking walks with her son, Timothy, and dog, Ricky.
