Andrews University Teaching and Learning Conference
Call for Proposals 2026

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, the Andrews University School of Education, will host its 23nd annual conference. The Andrews University Teaching and Learning Conference (AUTLC) invites proposals for scholarly work, posters, and best practice sessions from university faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, PreK-12 teachers, and other education professionals. This year’s conference theme is Beyond Test Scores: Cultivating Human Flourishing in Educational Communities.

The conference will have in-person and virtual options.  We invite educators to share reports of significant work in practice, theory, research, development, applications, and societal issues from across the field of education, especially in the following areas:

  • Faith and Learning
  • Higher Education and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
  • Arts in Education
  • Community Building
  • K-12 Teaching

Submissions from individual, group, and interdisciplinary teams are encouraged. Presenters will discuss and demonstrate strategies, techniques, or solutions to common issues in education. This will be an opportunity to inform attendees about lessons learned and future plans from those who have designed, developed, and implemented education in effective and/or innovative ways especially to cultivate human flourishing.

Individuals and groups can submit proposals for poster presentations or breakout sessions.  Poster presentations will be in-person at the Andrews University Berrien Springs campus.
