Micro-internships
As you consider your workforce needs in the coming months, micro-internships offer an opportunity to engage Andrews students and recent graduates on short-term, professional assignments.
In addition to providing professional work experience and learning opportunities, micro-internships can also complement your campus recruiting strategy by providing an opportunity to assess students' skills and quality of work.
Andrews University has partnered with Parker Dewey to provide a seamless micro-internship process for students and employers. To learn more about hiring an Andrews University student for a micro-internship and to post opportunities, visit our Parker Dewey micro-internship page.
Meet and interact with our students while recruiting to fill your job and internship needs through our career fairs. The University hosts several career fairs targeted to various majors and academic disciplines, which offer employers a more targeted talent pool. Our Fall fair which features all majors is held in October; our Spring Fair featuring Health and Human Services, Social Work and Education majors is held in February; and the School of Architecture and Interior Design's Career Fair is held in March.
Employers are able to recruit and connect with students on campus through in-person tabling. A table and chairs are provided on the main floor of our Student Center, which sees the highest volume of student traffic throughout the day. Employers are able to talk with students passing by and to promote their organization and/or vacancies. To participate, complete the On-campus, In-person Tabling Request Form.
Helping to support AU Career Services offers multiple advantages for employers and students. Career Center staff will work with you to secure a successful partnership.
