Support For Student Research and Professional Development
Giving Day Goal: $10,000
This Giving Day, we seek support for the Medical Laboratory Informatics Campaign, which aims to integrate iPads into our MLS student labs. We aim to raise $10,000 to purchase 16 iPads with protective covers and bench mounts. Our goal is to elevate the learning experience of Medical Laboratory Science students by simulating interactions with a student-level Laboratory Information System similar to that employed in modern laboratories.
Collective Impact
Incorporating iPads at each student laboratory station will facilitate these simulations and mimic interaction with cutting-edge technologies, enhancing hands-on training and raising the standard of education within our program, which will better prepare MLS graduates for the intricate/sophisticated technological landscape of laboratory medicine.
