Continuing Education
The program is designed to provide licensed physical therapists with acadmeic courses as they work towards becoming Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapists through our partnership with Aspire OMT, an orthopaedic manual therapy institute founded by renowned Erl Pettman. Our courses require some on-campus time. The average lengthis 2 to 4 days, while some courses require 6 days. For more information contact us.
Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy
The Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) degree represents the highest clinical specialty doctorate in the world. This unique degree is designed to enhance the skills of practicing physical therapists. Recognizing the importance of the fundamental principles of orthopedic manual therapy, each graduate will be a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) through our partner, ASPIRE OMT. Choose a concentration in Higher Education Teaching, Orthopaedic Manual Therapy or Women’s Health . Graduates from our program are primed for practicing as master clinicians, teaching in a university setting and contributing to scholarly research.

These mission trips give DPT students the opportunity to experience application of their skills in a different culture. Gifts to this fund will assist with travel and accommodation costs as well as equipment needs for the site.
Established on August 26, 1987, by the Andrews University Alumni Association Physical Therapy Chapter, this scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the professional physical therapy program at Andrews University.
Your gift will be used within the physical therapy department to maintain or upgrade our equipment, improve student laboratory, classroom and study space, support student and faculty research initiatives, and other department activities.
