Requirements
- Has completed a regionally accredited bachelor's degree with a biology or chemistry major OR 30 biology and chemistry semester credits in or added to the bachelor's degree OR an equivalent international credential
- Overal GPA AND cognate science GPA both 2.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale
- Meets the MLS Program Essential Functions
- Had completed all prerequisites prior to first registration

Tuition & Fees
- Application fee: $30
- Tuition: $450 per credit (1–4 credits per class)
- Distance fee: $155 per semester
- Textbooks: $200 per class

What to Expect
- The Technologist in Microbiology Certificate requires 17-20 credits.
- Upon completion students receive Technologist in Microbiology Certificate (no degree is awarded) and are eligible to write the Technologist Microbiology Certification as sponsered by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology).
