Students who meet or exceed the following academic credentials for admission to graduate programs are encouraged to apply. Note that satisfaction of minimum academic standards is only one factor in admission decisions. If your country is not listed below please contact the Credential Evaluation Specialists.

Admission Requirements for Master's Degrees

One of the following academic credentials are required:
  • 4-year Bachelor Honours degree (AQF Level 8)
  • 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7)
What to Submit into Your Online Application
  • Unofficial transcripts/academic records containing a complete record of all courses taken and individual marks obtained. If transcripts do not list the date of graduation, please upload a copy of your degree certificate (or testamur).
  • Official academic transcript sent directly by the awarding institution.
Please note: Applicants who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can be considered for provisional admission.
 
After Admission Decision
  • Official academic transcript sent directly by the awarding institution.
  • Copy of the degree certificate (or testamur) submitted by the applicant.

*According to the academic credit system in Australia, bachelor degree require completion of 144 credit points (for 3 years bachelor's degrees) and 96 credits for completing a postgraduate degree.

Accreditation Information

  • Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) protects student interests and Australia’s higher education sector’s reputation. All organisations that offer higher education in or from Australia must be registered by TEQSA. Moreover, TEQSA provides advice  and makes recommendations to the Commonwealth Minister responsible for Education on matters relating to the quality and regulation of higher education providers.
  • Tasmania - Department of Education (DoE) is responsible for government education around Tasmania from Learning programs (babies to 4 year olds and their families), primary, combined, secondary and senior secondary schools around the state.
  • The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) is an independent statutory authority that works to assure the quality of education and training in Victoria. They apply standards to education and training providers and accredit courses and qualifications. The VRQA register education and training providers in Vocational Education Training (VET) and secondary education.
  • Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) is an independent quality and standards organisation, appointed by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) as the higher education accreditation authority for the psychology profession in Australia. National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS) appointed APAC as accrediting authority for psychology in Australia. They regularly report to PsyBA.
  • The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is an independent national standards body for medical education and training. They ensure that standards of education, training and assessment of the medical profession promote and protect the health of the Australian community.
  • Quality Assurance in Education and Training (NEAS) is responsible for providing quality assurance services for everyone in the English Language Teaching (ELT) community. They provide a number of services including quality assurance and endorsement for ELT Centres, professional development for teachers, managers and professional staff and approval of ELT teacher qualifications.
  • International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE - ICE) is a global organisation for accreditation, benchmarking, and quality enhancement in tourism, hospitality, events and culinary arts (TH&E) education.
